Samsung has finally begun rolling out the stable One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 7, nearly three months after launching the beta program.
As of now, the update is available in South Korea and is being released first to users who participated in the One UI 8 Watch beta program. Non-beta users are expected to receive the update later today or in the coming days.
Although Samsung hasn’t shared an official global rollout timeline, the update will likely expand to more regions within the next week.
The stable update comes with the build version L310XXU1BYI4 / L310OXM1BYI4 and includes the September 2025 security patch. For beta testers, the update size is around 160 MB, while users upgrading directly from One UI 7 Watch can expect a download size of about 2 GB.

The One UI 8 Watch update brings several improvements, including better performance, enhanced power efficiency, and new features. Some key highlights include:
- The new Now Bar
- More gesture controls
- Updated charging animations
- New watch faces
- New health and fitness features
If you own a Galaxy Watch 7 and live in South Korea, you can check for the update by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone. After that, go to Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install. If the update is available, it will start downloading automatically. Once the process completes, tap Install now to upgrade your watch to One UI 8.
