Today, Samsung has started rolling out the stable version of the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea. While the initial release is limited to the company’s home market, the update is expected to expand to more regions in the coming days.
Alongside the rollout, the Korean tech giant has also officially shared the timeline and schedule for the wider One UI 8 rollout through a notice in the Samsung Members app in South Korea. According to the notice, the update will be released in phases across September, October, and November 2025.
The rollout plan was also posted by multiple users on the Samsung Community forum in South Korea. Looking at the release timeline, many Galaxy fans might feel anxious about the wait. It’s not surprising that the current flagship Galaxy S25 series is getting the update first — Samsung has followed this pattern for years. Even one-generation-old flagship phones usually get the update later, whether it’s a beta or a stable release.
Still, Galaxy users can at least be assured that they’ll receive the stable One UI 8 update in the coming months. The updates will roll out in monthly phases, though exact dates may vary by region, carrier, and model.
