2. Health and Activity Data
To display fitness metrics, our watch faces access health data (such as step count and heart rate) via the Wear OS system. This data is:
- Processed locally and ephemerally in system memory.
- Used solely to display information on the watch screen.
- Not stored, logged, or shared with any third parties or Gadget Liv servers.
3. Location Data
To provide local weather information, the watch face may request your device’s approximate location.
- This data is used only to fetch the current weather via system-level services or encrypted third-party APIs.
- Location data is not tracked, stored, or linked to your identity.
4. Data Deletion and Retention
Because all sensitive data (Health and Location) is processed ephemerally on our Wear OS watch faces, it is not stored on any external servers. Therefore, there is no data to delete. 5. Ads and Security
- No Advertisements: We do not show ads in our watch faces or companion apps.
- No Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs that collect personal identifiers.
- Encryption: Any data requested from APIs (like weather) is handled over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS).
