Earlier, Samsung released the stable version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, and now the Galaxy S24 series is finally receiving the update after months of beta testing. Currently, the rollout is limited to South Korea, with a global release expected on September 25.
The rollout initially began for users enrolled in the beta program and has now expanded to non-beta users (via Tarun Vats). The update size is 328 MB for beta testers and around 3.3 GB for non-beta users. It can be identified by the following build versions:
- Beta users: S921NKSU9CYI5 / S921NOKR9CYI5 / S921NKSU9CYI3
- Non-beta users: S928NKSU4CYI7 / S928NOKR4CYI7 / S928NKSU4CYI3
The update also carries the September 2025 security patch.

If you’re in South Korea and own a Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, or S24 FE, you can check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
One UI 8 doesn’t bring major changes to the software. Instead, it focuses on refinements, stability improvements, and better system performance. Bigger features and UI upgrades are expected to arrive with One UI 8.5, which is likely to launch next year.
