According to Samsung’s official timeline, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 were scheduled to receive the stable One UI 8 update starting September 25. However, Samsung has surprised users by rolling it out a little earlier than expected.
The update is currently being released for beta users in South Korea, carrying the following build versions:
- Galaxy Z Fold 6: F956NKSU2CYI7 / F956NOKR2CYI7 / F956NKSU2CYHC
- Galaxy Z Flip 6: F741NKSU2CYI6 / F741NOKR2CYI6 / F741NKSU2CYHC

For beta users, the update size is about 600 MB, while non-beta users can expect a larger package of around 4 GB. It also includes the September 2025 security patch. Other than that, there are no additional features or bug fixes included in the update. To check for the software update, head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
If you’re outside South Korea, the rollout should reach your region in the coming days. We’ll keep you updated as soon as it expands globally.
