It’s been barely an hour since we reported on the official rollout of the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series, and now a Samsung mid-range phone is getting closer to its official release. According to new reports shared by Varun Vats on X (formerly Twitter), the Galaxy A54 in India and South Korea has started receiving the second beta update of One UI 8.
The new update carries version ZY13 (India) and ZY14 (Korea) with build numbers A546EXXUFZYI3 / A546EODMFZYI3 / A546EXXUFEYI3 and A546SKSUEZY14 / A546SSKCZY14 / A546SKSUECY13, respectively. The update size is around 347 MB for the Indian variant and 298 MB for the Korean variant.
Similar to recent beta updates on other Galaxy devices, this build doesn’t introduce new features. Instead, it focuses on bug fixes and system improvements. Depending on the region, the changelog may differ slightly:
One UI 8 Beta 2 Changelog (India)
- Fixed auto-complete behavior error when entering a password
- Fixed zoom operation error in the Magnifier-specific section
- Fixed the cover screen dimming issue when using the timer

One UI 8 Beta 2 Changelog (Korea) — Translated
- Fixed an issue where the password input window did not appear automatically
- Fixed an issue where selecting the Back key in Camera > Portrait mode > Effect strength bar would cause the app to close
- Fixed an issue where unlocking after entering Smart View Cover AOD did not display the battery icon
- Fixed an issue where turning off Bluetooth from the Quick Panel during a device search did not work

Over the past week, Samsung has been pushing multiple beta updates across its Galaxy lineup. With stable builds already rolling out for other models, it seems like the Galaxy A54’s stable One UI 8 update could be just around the corner.
